The Danish agriculture and food industry takes climate change very seriously and wishes to contribute with constructive and long term solutions. We will do this both as producers of climate and environmentally-efficient food, and as suppliers of bioenergy.
The Danish Agriculture & Food Council expects a powerful agreement in Copenhagen that will ensure the continuation and strengthening of climate actions even after the Kyoto Protocol expires in 2012. The agreement will set out a framework that will continue to reward and promote global, regional and domestic Danish climate-friendly agricultural production. The climate will not be saved by unilateral national initiatives.
