Cooperation with IFAP

The Danish Agriculture & Food Council is a member of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP). IFAP is the world farmer organisation representing over 600 million farm families grouped in 120 national organisations in 79 countries. It is a global network in which farmers from industrialised and developing countries exchange concerns and set common priorities. IFAP has advocated farmer interests at the international level since 1946.

Through its membership of IFAP, The Danish Agriculture & Food Council, closely monitors the UN climate change negotiations – and lobbies negotiators for the proper inclusion of agriculture in a new climate change agreement.
